This full-day conference is designed to provide you with tools and techniques that can help you enhance your performance and advance your agency’s mission. You will hear from federal agencies that have implemented innovative programs and federal leaders who have unique perspectives on today’s federal workforce.

Conference sessions will be presented by 2019 Deming Award winning agencies — Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State, Small Business Administration, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. A special panel discussion addressing “The New Face of the Federal Workforce” will feature perspectives from some of today’s most insightful government leaders.

The conference will also include a special afternoon career session entitled “Stay on the Top of Your Game,” where you will learn:

  • Why it’s important and beneficial to be a continual learner
  • How to use a simple four-step process for approaching professional and career development
  • At least 20 no- or low-cost developmental activities
  • How to use a template to create an actionable development plan
